In a study conducted at the University of Chicago and the Rosalind Franklin University Medical Center Psychiatry Clinics in the USA, and published in a scientific article, long-term antioxidant treatment was applied to autistic children of different ages to control problem behaviors associated with autism. In the treatment results, a decrease in problem behaviors and positive developments were observed in 5 out of 6 children. Three separate behavior control scales were comparatively applied for measuring the control of behaviors, and the obtained behavior scores were published. In the findings obtained; when comparing the results of behavioral scores from behavior scales before and after antioxidant treatment, it was reported that in 5 out of 6 children, there was a reduction in problem behaviors and positive developments after antioxidant treatment.
